How The Dinosaurs Died.
A figure of a stout man faced the open window which overlooked his newly won state. All of Germany cheered and cried for their victor, grateful for a new ruler. The man smirked at them, watching their faces, imagining their future. Oh, what a glorious future! How many of these Germans could he trust? How many were traitors, how many were scum? He would find this out later, when he began his plan; however, today he had different plans. Plans for mass destruction. The world would never forget what he would do today, they would gasp and cower when they realized the truth. That he, ruler of Germany, Adolf Hitler, would change the world.
He spun on his heel, his short mustache twitching as his smiling grew wide. Öffnen Sie die Vorhänge! he called to the short man across the room. The man saluted to Hitler and turned to follow the orders that were given to him; to open the curtains, to reveal Hitlers weapon.
The man pulled on the curtains and tugged them open. A glimmer of light seemed to shine through them, but it was nothing but the shine of the machine behind. Was it a weapon of mass destruction, a bomb, a gun worthy of killing many? No, it was better.
A time machine.
The machine was tall and made of metal. On top of it were four rudders, and inside it was covered in buttons, ready to be used.
Is it ready? Adolf asked, excitement growing in his heart.
Yes sir, the man said. As ready as shell ever be.
I will take this on myself, Mansief. he muttered to the man. I have fought in World War One, I have proved myself worthy of governing Germany. I shall show the world that I, Adolf Hitler, am not one to fool with! I will cause destruction, death, and peril in my wake. All will know of what I will do my friend.
Mansief nodded curtly. Yes sir.
Is the weapon ready?
Mansief nodded again, this time turning to his right and uncovering a box. A Nuclear bomb, worthy of killing of an entire species. The type of Heavy Water that was used to create this creature is no longer in existence, sir. So be wise.
Hitler used his dominate hand to land a powerful smack across Mansiefs face. Be wise! How dare you, a mere boy, insult your ruler to his face!
Mansief straightened up from the blow quickly, trying to hide the fear in his face. My mistake. I made a grave mistake.
Watch your mouth boy, or you shall find yourself at the business end of my pistol. Hitler threatened. Mansief nodded, clearly eager to have Hitler do his business and let him leave. Mansief, I am ready. Place the weapon inside the machine.
Mansief did as he was told, being extremely careful with the bomb. Where would you like to go? he asked Adolf.
To the time where creatures ruled. To the time where the creatures were the most powerful. Hitler glanced above Mansiefs head, his pose and gaze clearly dramatic. Take me to the time of the last Dinosaurs. The world will know what power Adolf Hitler, ruler of Germany, holds!
Mansief quickly turned the dial on the Time Machine, bringing it to the time period of the last remaining dinosaurs.
This will be a warning to the world. Hitler said, power in his voice. He stepped inside the machine, took a dramatic turn, and faced Mansief. He patted the bomb with his left hand, and placed his right in his breast pocket. Mansief, he addressed the boy. I will be back soon. My mark will be left, and then the world will cry under my boy.
Mansief saluted Hitler. Gutes Glück, Sir!
And with a wink of the eye, Hitler pressed the large red button to his left side, and disappeared with a flash of orange light.
The machine tumbled and caused the man inside to stumble and place his hands against the walls for balance. The bomb swayed and threatened to fall over, ultimately causing Hitlers own end, but it was nothing but a threat. There was another flash of orange as the Time Machine descended from the depths of Time. He felt the machine land on a rocky area. Adolf stood upright and straightened his tie. Well, he muttered. This is it.
He pressed the similar yet smaller, button below the red and the doors opened. He glanced out, showing no fear on his powerful face. The world was entirely different from the one he was used too. Overgrown vegetation grew over the land, mountains sprouted at abnormal sizes, a volcano puffed black smoke into the orange clouds that littered the sky. A screech could be heard in the distance, and large creatures flew in the sky. The world was beautiful, but to Hitler, it was just another plan of destruction.
The volcano.
The volcano was perfect. He would use the volcano for his bidding. He stepped back inside of the Time Machine and pressed a small button on the side. The rudders on top of the machine began to groan and whine, and soon it turned into a full spin. The machine began to rise off the ground, it gained air and soon it was floating thirty feet above the ground.
He had a perfect view of this new earth. He could see the mighty carnivore chasing a smaller dinosaur. Small dinosaurs ran in packs along the side of the volcano. Birds and Pterodactyls covered the sky. The Giant Lizards were both frightening and beautiful, it almost seemed to be a sin to go on with his plan.
But that didnt phase Hitler.
To him these graceful creatures had it coming.
He used the arrow like buttons to steer him towards the volcano as he gained more altitude. His excitement was growing inside him, and when he succeeded in destroying the dinosaurs, he knew he would not be stopped.
Within minutes he was near the volcano, the smoke billowed from the deep mouth, nearly suffocating the German man. He careful took the nuclear bomb out of the box and placed it on the mouths edge, nudging it more towards the middle. Then with a flick of the wrist, he spun the dial back to the 1930s.
Ah, this will be perfect. Adolf said smugly. Auf Wiedersehen Dinosaurs! You have no mercy!
And with a powerful kick he pushed the bomb into the volcano, also launching himself backwards inside the time machine. With another flick of the wrist, he slapped the large red button, just in time to see a fiery explosion gripping the once beautiful world.
The orange flash in the room signaled to Mansief that Hitler had returned, and the boy quickly ran to meet him.
Once Hitler had stepped from the machine, Mansief asked him, Oh Sir, how did it go?
Hitler nodded curtly. It went as planned. The world will know that I, Adolf Hitler, killed the dinosaurs. I have committed Dinosaur Genocide.
Mansief seemed to be a bit unsure.
What is wrong, Mansief? Hitler said loudly, noticing the boy.
Well Sir
Im not sure how to say this
TELL ME NOW!
Mansief jumped at Hitlers tone. Alright, alright! He ran into the study and returned with a newspaper in his hands. Read this, Sir.
Hitler took the paper from Mansiefs hand in a angry manner and scanned the first page. His eyes bulged, his mouth dropped, and his heart turned into hot anger.
What in Gods name! Damn this absurd paper!
And with a flurry of motion he flung the paper onto the floor, struck Mansief across the face, and marched to the study to down his bottle of whisky.
Scientists trying to find out how the Dinosaurs went Extinct.
March 1934
Scientist Roberto Giuliani of Italy reported to us that he and his group of Scientists were still in search of a reason to why the Dinosaurs had gone extinct. We have found a quiet area in which there is a rather large crater in the ground. We like to believe that a volcano had once taken home to this area. He told us. We are to believe that a meteorite struck this area, possibly the volcano, and caused a mass explosion large enough to destroy the population of Dinosaurs; however, with fossils and evidence unclear, it is hard to know for sure. Roberto and his crew had been working on
